There is no recipe to follow here, which is the whole design. The counter offers ingredients and fruit, the mixer blends whatever you put in it, and the tin rack has several shapes and colours — so the cake that comes out of the oven is the one you specified rather than the one the game had planned.
That freedom cuts both ways. Nothing can fail, but nothing is taught either, and a player looking for the structure of an actual bake will find this thin. What it does well is the last stage: the decoration set is large, it applies cleanly to any shape, and the round and square tins genuinely change how a layout reads.
