Ice Cream Games

The section runs from recipe games that make ice cream from sugar, ice and milk, through sundae and cone builders, to shops and trucks where the frozen product is sold rather than made.
The most interesting titles here are the ones that treat freezing as a process with stages. A base has to cool before it is churned or the result is thin; inclusions folded in too early shatter and too late never mix; ice cream rolls have to set on a cold plate before they can be scraped. Those are small constraints and they are what separate a game from a colour-picking exercise.
Sundaes get their own treatment, because a sundae is an assembly problem: sauce under cream behaves differently from sauce over it, and at least one game here scores you entirely on that order.
