Marie Prepares Treat

Two desserts and an outfit, in that order. The first half is chocolate work: choosing between dark, white and milk, melting it, adding nuts and dried fruit, and filling moulds that set into individual pieces. The second half moves to cupcakes — bake, cool, pipe, decorate — with a wider set of toppings than the chocolate stage offers.

The dress-up scene at the end is not filler, though it is clearly borrowed from a different genre. It exists so the game has somewhere to put the finished tray, and the wardrobe is small enough that it takes under a minute.

The reason to play it twice is the chocolate stage. Which base you pick changes what the decorations look like against it, and white chocolate with dark sprinkles is a different object from the reverse — the only real design decision in an otherwise gentle game.

Controls

Tap ingredients and moulds in sequence; tap wardrobe items in the final scene.

How to Play

  1. Pick a chocolate type and melt it.
  2. Add fillings, pour into moulds and let the pieces set.
  3. Bake and decorate the cupcakes with cream and toppings.
  4. Choose an outfit for the final scene and finish the presentation.

Tips & Tricks

Pick contrasting chocolate and topping colours in the first half. Everything after that stage is bright, and a pale-on-pale tray disappears next to the cupcakes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a dress-up section in Marie Prepares Treat?

Yes, a short one at the end. The bulk of the game is the chocolate and cupcake making before it.

Can I choose which chocolate to use?

Yes — dark, white and milk are all available, and the choice changes how the decorations read against the finished pieces.
