A proper timed kitchen with a seasonal menu rather than a decorating game with pumpkins on it. The dishes — mummy hot dogs, mummy pizza pies — need wrapping in pastry strips, which is a slower assembly step than the usual stack-and-serve.
That wrapping is what makes the level design work. It cannot be rushed and it cannot be started early, so the whole shift is built around getting other things done in the window while a mummy is being wrapped.
Tempo is high, in line with the rest of this studio’s series. A short seasonal game that plays like a real service kitchen rather than a novelty, which is rarer in October than it should be.
