Hard candy is made by boiling sugar to a specific stage and this game keeps that idea, if simply: the mixture heats, changes colour, and has to come off the heat before it goes too far. Pulling it early gives a soft sweet, pulling it late gives a bitter dark one.
Four flavours — strawberry, grape, apple and pineapple — go in as colour and taste together, and the shaping stage offers moulds that determine what the finished sweet looks like from every angle.
This node replaced a game that had been delisted from the distribution feed, and the replacement was chosen for its mechanics rather than its name: a factory that actually produces candy, not a match-three puzzle with confectionery artwork on the tiles.

How to Play

Tips & Tricks
Take the pot off as soon as the colour shifts. The sugar keeps cooking after the heat is gone, and a mixture that looked right in the pot is already too dark in the mould.
